www.glassandmirrors.ie will give you notice of scheduled delivery date to allow you to make necessary arrangements to receive your mirrors or glass.
www.glassandmirrors.ie will not accept any liability for arrangements you have made to accept or return your order. The delivery team will wait while
you check your order for damages, where this is not possible please contact the office within 48 hours of delivery if there is any issue with the order.
Please note due to the nature of the product we cannot accept responsibility after this period. In the event of a delivery being delayed or cancelled due to
circumstances beyond our control, we will offer a delivery date as close as possible to the original agreed delivery date. Where a delivery date has been
given but the buyer isn’t present to receive the order we reserve the right to charge the buyer an additional delivery charge to cover the cost of the
failed delivery. We advise all customers to CHECK the order for damage and defects on delivery and only to sign for delivery once happy with quality.
Our deliveries are usually dispatched within 5 working days for cut to size mirrors and up to 10 working days for toughened glass products. These times
are given as estimates only. While every reasonable effort will be made to meet these dates compliance is not guaranteed and the buyer will not
be entitled to claim damages or cancel the order for failure to meet these dates.
For orders consisting of mirrors and toughened products delivery will take place when all products are ready for delivery.
In order for www.glassandmirrors.ie to offer a competitive rate for deliveries as possible our vehicles are manned by ONLY ONE PERSON. The driver
will unload the goods for you, however we will need you to provide suitable help in unloading of mirrors or glass with any length over 1300mm. If you
are unable to do this we will provide a second person at an additional charge which must arranged before delivery is to take place. Please contact the office
in advance for a quote.
Our delivery team will happily unload to a ground floor room, but are not insured to deliver above ground floor. So we regret that we cannot deliver to an
upstairs room nor can we collect from them.
We accept a wide range of payment types including PayPal, visa and MasterCard. Orders will only be processed after payment has been authorised. Please
Note that payment will take place prior to delivery. www.glassandmirrors.ie uses PayPal for secure online credit and debit clearing.
Glass and Mirror solutions reserves the right to grant, refuse, restrict, alter or cancel credit terms at its sole discretion at any time.
Minimum size for polished and bevelled products is 150mm X 150mm
Maximum lenght for 4mm thickness is 2440mm. Sizes that exceed 1.5 square metres must be split or upgraded to 6mm thickness at the customers expense.
Maximum lenght for 6mm thickness is 3000mm. Sizes that exceed 3 square metres must be split at the customers expense.
All orders will be processed to a tolerance of +/- 2mm
If you require a certain bevel size, we will try to accommodate this request but due to the complexity of changing the machine it is
not always possible.
Reporting and returning Damaged items
In the unlikely event that your product arrives damaged or faulty you must contact the office by phone or email within 24 hours. Due to the nature
of the product we will not accept responsibility of damage once the product has been fitted, therefor any claims of damage after fitting will be
Changes and Alterations
It is the customers’ responsibility to ensure that all sizes given are correct. www.glassandmirrors.ie will try to accommodate any changes but in order to
ensure a quick and timely we start to process our orders almost immediately. Please note that toughened glass CANNOT be altered once processed. The
toughening process leaves us unable to alter the glass in any way and we will not accept any responsibility for any wrong sizes on the buyers’ part.
www.glassandmirrors.ie reserves the right to cancel your order and refund your money at anytime.
As these are made to measure products processed to your exact requirements they are NON RETURNABLE and NON REFUNDABLE.
Fitting and Measuring Service
When only choosing fitting It is the customers’ responsibility to provide the correct measurements.
It is the customers’ responsibility of the customer to ensure that there is adequate access in order for the mirrors and glass to be installed safely,
Should access not be adequate there will be an additional charge for the mirrors and glass to be altered and returned to site for installation. It
Is the customers’ responsibility to remove any obstructions in the way of installation ie. Electrical sockets etc and to replace them after installation is
Our fitting team will only fit mirrors with polished or bevelled edges and with glue. We will not fit drilled mirrors.
Where measuring is required it is the customers’ responsibility to ensure the area is ready for measuring ie tiling is complete, plastering is done, skirting
and flooring is in place etc. As we work off the smallest of margins we will not measure before the area is ready and reserve the right to charge for
an additional measuring callout when required.
www.glassandmirror.ie use the highest quality mirror and glass products. Our website offers a specialist mirror adhesive that is suitable
to use with these products and will not cause any adverse effects to the products. We strongly recommend that our adhesive is used with our products
but where a third party adhesive is being used please refer to the manufactures guidelines for use. We will not accept any liability for damage caused to
products when third party products have been used.
